Searching for an Answer

Lately I've been craving a yummy dessert. But alas! I have come up empty on perfection. Everything sweet I try just isn't what I'm looking for. They're good, even better than good...but nothing that takes my tastes bud on an everlasting ride of pleasure. Nope, not yet...

Recipe Box

I am dedicating my day to writing down yummy recipes and putting them in my handy dandy recipe box I bought from Michael's Craft store for a dollar! As I'm writing I'm reminiscing all the wonderful food memories made! Delicious desserts, warm cozy soups, cool fresh salads, and so much more...I have an online recipe box, but I want to have a handwritten box, just in case I don't have internet access. Plus it'll be cute to pass this on to my kids =D the kids I've yet to have! I best get back to writing! 

Hey there Cupcake! ;D

I absolutely love a  yummy cupcake! So lately I've been attempting to perfect my own little mix and frosting... so far nothing spectacular, but I truly enjoy trying. I want to make beautiful cupcakes that people don't want to ruin because they look so awesome, but when they bite into it..UTTER BLISS BEYOND COMPARE!!! Yes, EUPHORIA in a cupcake. I've been taste testing other bakeries cupcakes and there's some really delicious recipes out there. Just the other day I had an orange sherbet cupcake that tasted like an orange dream machine from Jamba Juice. Writing about it makes me want some right now! =D I'd love to own a little bakery someday, along with a smoothie shop. coffee shop, and spa. =) So much to do, so little time...

Breakfast of Champions

I love making oatmeal in the morning for breakfast. Sometimes when I feel like spoiling myself I'll boil milk instead of water before adding in the oats. With a dash of salt, a proper amount of butter, and some heaping spoons of brown sugar my favorite breakfast dish is ready to be devoured with a side of toast! I love the new commercial Quaker Oats has with people strapping on their rocket packs fueled with oatmeal, that's definitely the way to go.

C is for...

I awake to a familiar waft of sweetness dancing in the air around me. Like a lamb looking for his Keeper, I find myself following this heavenly scent.  Entering our kitchen I spot the culprit, Yes! homemade chocolate chip cookies. Fresh out of the oven, I'm excited for them to cool down. Hmm, waiting isn't my forte, so I  partake of the hotness...ouch! burn, burn, ooh melted chocolate...I love cookies...this was so worth it. A moment of euphoria experienced before a polite interruption. I'm asked to bring the plate out for all to try. Thank goodness there's only three adults and one baby in our household!
